About me
Courtney Shosh writes upmarket women’s fiction. Prior to focusing on creative writing, she worked for seven years in editing, public outreach/education, and communications in the governmental and nonprofit sectors. She holds degrees in English and Natural Resources from the University of Michigan. Courtney has lived a life of wonder and adventure including once helping to relocate a grizzly bear in Yellowstone National Park. When she’s not writing or caring for her family, she loves learning something new or being swallowed by a forest. She’s seeking representation for her debut novel, Letting Go of the Sky, winner of the 2022 Colorado Gold Rush Literary Awards in the Women’s Fiction/Romance category.
